About Us
I first came across a bio-security product on social media in 2021 and was intrigued to learn more. Once I’d researched the product, I was blown away by its possibilities for the animal market, which coincided with me looking to become my own boss and get back to my equestrian and farming roots.
I had previously completed the Advanced Equine Business Management at the Warwickshire College of Agriculture, specializing in Performance Horse Management. I then completed my BHS exams and taught riding, ran livery yards and became heavily involved in Pony Club. All three of my children rode throughout childhood and my daughter Eve still competes in British Eventing competitions. I was that Pony Club mum who sprayed the stay-away stables and camp stables before the ponies went in to ensure they all stayed healthy and happy!
That’s why finding a product that is scientifically tested, DEFRA-approved, and is veterinary grade as well as being organic compliant and biodegradable was so exciting. At a time when our society is faced with more and more debilitating illnesses across human and animal sectors, the idea of helping people combat them really piqued my interest.
And so, Ag+ was created!
I am passionate about what I do and relish the fact that every day is different. I love the fact that I am learning all the time, meeting new people and have the chance to visit a variety of properties across different sectors.
The company name Ag+ stems from the chemical symbol for silver. Ionic Silver stabilizes the active ingredient Hydrogen peroxide and for me it was a play on words. We set up with the aim of reducing the pathogen load within the environment of agricultural, equine, avian and pet sectors, to promote good health, while being kind to the environment.
We use a high pressure vapor machine to disinfect buildings using EndoSan disinfectant. We offer monthly yard visits that are perfect for the racing industry and other busy equestrian establishments and training centers, or bi-monthly, quarterly or annual yard visits, that typically take place after a deep clean. Our EndoSan disinfectant reduces the pathogen load on the premises to keep it to a minimum and helps minimize the spread of pathogens. We are also called to premises that have had outbreaks, such as Streptococcus Equi (Strangles), our EndoSan disinfectant will eradicate it from surfaces and equipment.
We also offer comprehensive bio-security advice including planning and implementing successful quarantine procedures, providing ongoing support with outbreaks of any description, and implementing bio-security plans.
Our Product
We use EndoSan disinfectant, a powerful, rigorously tested, highly effective, broad spectrum disinfectant with the active ingredient Stabilized Hydrogen Peroxide. It is tested by The Irish equine Center, veterinary-grade, medical grade, food safe and can be used as a water treatment. EndoSan disinfectant is a bactericide, virucide, sporicide, fungicide, algaecide and amoebicide disinfectant.
EndoSan disinfectant is effective against the pathogens that plague the equine and agricultural sectors, such as Streptococcus Equi, Aspergillus and Influenza.
EndoSan is odorless, colorless and tasteless and safe to spray around feed, hay and water containers.
